How do you turn on the EDC35?
Fully click the tail switch for on/off
Half tap the switch to cycle through the brightness levels
Half-press and hold to activate the momentary spotlight for searching
Fully press and hold to engage the momentary full 5000 lumens flood mode
Why does my EDC35 flashlight turn on but not stay on? (Why doesn't it turn on consistently?)
Press the switch quickly yet firmly. Listen for a distinct click sound to confirm it's properly engaged. It may require a few attempts initially to become familiar with the necessary pressure and speed for operating the switch effectively.
What does the proximity sensor do? Can it be disabled?
The built-in sensor automatically lowers the (1300 lumen) brightness level when it detects an object blocking the front of the light in close proximity. Once activated, you can temporarily disable the sensor by briefly half-pressing the tail button.
What is the difference between the EDC33 and EDC35?
The EDC35 features a 5000 lumens higher output for increased brightness and range. Its 6000mah battery provides longer usage. it aslo comes with a robust NTH32 holster. On the other hand, the EDC33 has a more compact form.
